Korean Learn (Level 2 part 19) [verb change into noun]

we wanna learn the other way to change an action verb into a noun.

at part 14 we learn this with add -기 (gi) and add 하다 (hada)

now we use -는 것 (-neun geot) --> 것 (geot) means "a thing" or "an object" or "stuff" but when used like this it means "a fact or an act"

the structure is-verb stem + -는 것 (neun got)

by changing a verb into nouns (verb stem + neun geot) can take many different meanings :
1. doing something
2. act of doung something
3. the thing that you do
4. what you do

example
보다 (boda) = to see 보는 것 (boneun geot) =seeing, the act of seeing, the things that you see, what I watch

가다 (gada) = to go가는 것 (ganeun geot) = going, the act of going

all this words are in the presen tense. for th past tense and future tense we will learn it in the other part

some times -는 것 (neun geot) change to be -는 거 (neun go) just for ease the pronounciation.... but both is same like 이것 (igeot) that change to be 이거 (igeo)

sample sentences
지금 듣는 것은 노래예요 (jigeum deutneun geoteun noraeyeyo) what i'm listening now is a song.

오늘 만나는 것 알아요? (oneul mannaneun geot arayo?) do you know that we are meeting to day?

제 취메는 영화 보는 거예요 (je chwimineun yeonghwa boneun goyeyo) my hobby is watching movies

hm... now we know 2 ways changing the verbs in to a noun and the different ^^

keep learning and thanks for learn with me... ^_^

see you at part 20 ^_^
