Korean Learn (Level 2 part 2) [Object marking particles]

we wanna learn about object marking particles

the object marking particles are
을 (eul) or 를 (reul)

the use is
if the object ended by vowel followed by 를 (reul)
and if the object are ended by consonant followed by 을 (eul)

now let see some example

first compare some marking particles and see what they do to a words.

we have 사과 (sagwa) = apple

now lets add the marking particles
사과를 (sagwareul) even if we don't say the verb we know that 사과 is going to be th object of the verb.
so we can predict the verbs to an extent - eat an apple, buy an apple, sell an apple, throw an apple, etc

now lets use subject marking particles
사과가 (sagwaga) and we know that 사과 (sagwa) will be the subject.
you can predict the verbs here as well the apple is good, the apple is bad, the appe is big, the apple is expensive, etc

now lets use the topic marking particles
사과는 (sagwaneun) and we know that the speaker is going to say something about sagwa in comparison to other things or bring up the topic of sagwa for the firs time.

but sometimes the object marking particles are dropped.

lets see how it dropped

if you wanna say "what did you do yesterday?" and if you using all the elments here, its very unnatural in korean.

어제 서영씨는 뭐를 했어요? (eoje SoYoungssineun mworeul haesseoyo?)

so if you talking with me you don't need to call my name so it becomes

어제 뭐를 했어요? (eoje mworeul haesseoyo?)

and cuz 뭐 (mwo) is not the object of the sentence you an drop the 를 (reul) than it will be

어제 뭐 했어요? (eoje mwo haesseoyo?)

now when do we need to use object marking particles?

when we want to clarify the relation between the object word and the verb.

when it close each other its easy. it not much different when you use it or not. but when the object so far from th verbs you need to us it to make the meaning clearly

텔레비전 (tellebijeon) = TV
보다 (boda) = to watch
봐요 (bwayo) = I watch

텔레비전 봐요 (tellebijeon bwayo) = I watch TV

텔레비전 봐요? (tellebijeon bwayo?) = do you watch TV?
the TV and watch are still close so that is ok that we not use the object marking particles

텔레비전 자주 봐요? (tellebijeon jaju bwayo?) = do you watch TV often?
it still close each other between tellebijeon and bwayo

텔레비전을 일주일에 몇 번 봐요?
(tellebijeoneul iljuire myeot beon bwayo?) = how many tines a week do you watch TV?
now the tellebijeon far from bwayo so its need eun (object marking article)

from the example if the object are far from the verb we need tha marking articles to make the meaning clear.
