we wann learn how to say "from A to B" (location) "from A until B" (time)
에서 (eseo) and 부터 (butheo) means from and 까지 (kkaji) means to or until
first lets look at how to say "from A" in korean = A 에서 (A eseo) or A 부터 (A butheo)
example
1. from Seoul = 서울 에서 (Seoul eseo)
2. from Seoul = 서울 부터 (seoul butheo) -> starting from seoul
3. from now = 지금 부터 (jigeum butheo) not 지금 에서 (jigeum eseo)
4. from (or since) yesterday = 어제 부터 (eoje butheo)
now, to B or until B in korean is "B 까지" (kkaji)
example
1. (from somewhere else) to seoul = 서울 까지 (seoul kkaji)
2. until now = 지금 까지 (jigeum kkaji)
3. until tomorrow = 내일 까지 (naeil kkaji)
more example
1. from here to here = 여기에서 저기까지 (yeogieseo jeogikkaji) or 여기부터 저기까지 (yeogibutheo jeogikkaji)
2. from head to toe = 머리부터 발끝까지 (meoributheo balkkeuthkkaji) or 머리에서 발끝까지 (meorieseo balkkeuthkkaji)
3. from seoul to busan = 서울에서 부산까지 (seouleseo busankkaji) or 서울부터 부산까지 (seoulbutheo busankkaji)
4. from morning until evening = 아침부터 저녁까지 (achimbutheo jeonyeokkkaji) but you can not say 아침에서 저녁까지 (achimeseo jeonyeokkkaji)
