we wanna learn how to make negative sentences ^_^

how to make a negative sentence in korean
1. adding 안 (an) before a verb
2. using negative verb ending 지않다 (jianta)

lets try methode number 1 adding 안 (an) before the verb, check this example
가다 (gada) = to go
가요 (gayo) = im going / i go
집여 (jibe) = home
집여 가요 (jibe gayo) = im going home

now lets add the 안 (an) before the verb
가요 (gayo)
집에 안 가요 (jibe an gayo) = im not going home

and for making it a question just rise the tone at the enda of sentence and it would be

집에 안 가요? (jibe an gayo?) = you are not going home? / you do not go home?

now lets try the methode number 2 add the 지 않다 (ji anta) after the verbs
present tense = 지 않아요 (ji anayo)
past tense = 지 않았어요 (ji anasseoyo)

example
가다 (gada) = to go
가지 않다 (gaji anta) = to not go
가지 않아요 (gaji anayo) = I do not go/ Im not going
가지 않았어요 (gaji anasseoyo) = I did not go

hm but in t not used for isseoyo cus it has eopsoyo for the antonim ^_^ now yu can say or make a negative sentence
