Korean Learn (Level 1 part 8) [something is not something]

we wanna learnabout how to say something is not something

the word is 아니에요 (a-ni-e-yo) = to be not,it is not, you are not, etc.

아니에요 (a ni e yo) is the present tense form in the formal language of the verb 아니다 (a ni da) which mean to be not, so 아니에요 (a ni e yo) means it is not, I am not, he is not, she is not, etc.

whenever you want to say something is not something, you can say a subject and 아니에요 (a ni e yo)

so it would be
noun + 아니에요 (a ni e yo) = to be not + noun

example
저 (jeo) = I
저 아니에요 (jeo anieyo) = its not me

우유 (uyu) = milk
우유 아니어요 (uyu anieyo) = it is not milk

물 (mul) = water
물 아니에요 (mul anieyo) = its not water

remember to say this, that, the, that over there?? as pronounce??

이거 (igeo)
그거 (geugeo)
저거 (jeogeo)


so if you wanna say this s not milk in korean :
milk = 우유 (uyu)
this is = 이거 (igeo)
this is not milk = 이거 우유 아니에요 (igeo uyu anieyo)
easy 네? just add the 이거 infront of noun ^_^

so if i have this words
cat = 고양이 (goyangi)
that is = 그거 (geugeo)
so how to say that is not cat???

yes
그거 고양이 아니에요 (geugeo goyangi anieyo)

last one
아니에요 (anieyo) is used as reply to 감사합니다 (gamsahamnida) which means yes, OK, whatever, nevermind as we know that at books or other literacy when people say gamsahanid we will answer it with cheonmaneyo but at the real korean situation 아니에요 (anieyo) is the most commonly used for replying gamsahamnida or thanks in korean ^_^
