Korean Learn (Level 1 part 12) [jal meogeosseumnida]

remember part 11??
주세요 (juseyo) = please give me

주세요 (juseyo) can used at the restaurant to order something
example
김밥 주세요 (gimbap juseyo) = kimbap please
불고기 주세요 (bulgogi juseyo) = bulgogi please

now we wanna learn how tosay it taste good, it is delicious, etc.

first is saying it tastes good, or it is delicious
we just combine 2 words for expressed it
맛 (mat) = taste

있어요 (isseoyo) = there is or its exists
맛있어요 (masisseoyo) = it is tasty / it is delicious.

next is the oposit of 맛있어요 (masisseoyo)
yeah you must be has guesst it right??
cuz there is 있어요 (isseoyo) so the oposite was 없어요(eopsseoyo)
so it would be 맛없어요 (madeopseoyo) = its no tasty, its not delicious, it taste awfull

another examples
this is delicious = 이거 맛있어요 (igeo masisseoyo)
that cake is delicious = 저 케익 맛있어요 (jeo ke-ik masisseoyo)
what is delicious? = 뭐가 맛있어요? (mwoga masisseoyo?)
맛없어요 (madeopseoyo) = it is not delicious
이거 맛없어요? (igeo madeopseoyo?) = does this taste awful?
이 차 맛없어요 (i cha madeopseoyo) = this tea tastes awful

now we learn a prase that we say before and after eat to thanks for the meal.

before eat we wanna say
잘 먹겠습니다 (jal meokgesseumnida)
which means I'm going to eat well

and when we finish the eat we will say
잘 먹었습니다 (jal meogeosseumnida)
which litteraly means I have eaten well but it rael means is thank you for the food

hm korean people always waiting untill all food served than eat together they will wait until all people got their meal (at the restaurant) so uf you eat with your korean friend you must wait until ur friend get hi meal than eat together ^_^

hm next is still about 잘 먹겠습니다 (jal meokgeseumnida) you can say this before eat because of your friend treat you or if you say this to korean friends at the restaurant he will think that you ask him to treat you ^_^ and h will treat you ^_ ^

all of that prase is formal or polite style
ill give you one casual phrase and u can us this with your friends or close friends
잘 먹을게 (jal meogeulge) which means as 잘 먹겠습니다 (jal meokgesseumnida) and has same fungtion to ^_^ so you can say 잘 먹을게 (jal meogeulge) to your friends an let them treat you hahahaha

finish!!!

잘 먹을게 친구 (jal meogeulge chingu) ^_^
