Greeting in korean :
Annyeong haseyo = good morning, good afternoon, good evening
Annyeong haseyo? = how are you?
Annyeonghi gaseyo = good bye (said by people that stay)
Annyeonghi gyeseyo = good bye (said by people that leave)
Annyeonghi jumuseyo = good night
Saengil chukahamnida = Happy birthday
Hwan-yeong hamnida = welcome (polite)
Eoseo oseyo = welcome
Saehae bok mani badeuseyo = happy new year
Joheun haru doeseyo = have a nice day
Jeulgeoun Chuseok bonaeseyo = Happy Chuseok day
korean people always greet when introducing, before eat, after eat, farewell, want to sleep, etc. with lowered the head and bowing the body. you can lowered your head between 30 - 60 degrees for 2 - 3 seconds. deeper you bow or lowered your head it means that you more respect that people.
